The problem with one calculator per problem

Homework is rarely one calculation. It is a multi-part question where part (b) depends on part (a), a lab write-up where you convert units and then plug them into a formula, or a problem set where you want to check question 3 without destroying your answer to question 2.

A single-calculator app forces you to write intermediate results on paper and retype them — which is where transcription mistakes come from, and they cost marks even when the method was right.

Can I use it for exams?
Almost certainly not — most exam boards ban phones as calculators, and CalcBoard is not an approved exam device. Check your syllabus. It is designed for homework, labs, and problem sets.
Does it do algebra or graphing?
No. CalcBoard is a numeric calculator — arithmetic, scientific functions, programmer bases, and unit conversion. It does not solve equations symbolically or draw graphs.
Can I save constants like g or π?
π and e are built in. You can also define your own named variables — type g=9.81 once and use it in any panel and any mode. They persist between sessions.
Does scientific mode work in portrait?
